Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 513 Fisgard Street, Victoria, BC V8W 1R3

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Support the Restaurant Manager in coordinating overall restaurant operations
• Oversee kitchen operations, including prep coordination, line flow, and food quality checks
• Prepare staff schedules, monitor attendance, and support overall team performance
• Track inventory of food, beverages, and supplies and flag re-ordering needs
• Monitor, record and review sales performance and report findings to the Restaurant Manager
• Uphold service standards and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
• Participate in recruiting and training restaurant staff
• Address customer concerns promptly and ensure issues are resolved professionally

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service field including supervisory experience are required
