Household with busy parents looking for an energetic, genuinely caring and kind-hearted caregiver to help look after a 12-year-old child.

It is a full-time position of indeterminate duration, with an average of 37.5 hours per week.  Hours include afternoons and evenings.

Job Duties:

• -Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

• -Supervise and care for children

• -Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• -Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
• -Take children to and from school and to appointments and extracurriulum activities 
• -Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• -Tend to emotional well-being of children

• -Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• -Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• -Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children

• -May perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• -May shop for food and household supplies
•  

Requirements:

High School or equivalent 

-Minimum 1-7 month relevant experience working with children

-Responsible, reliable and attentive

-Valid driver's license and clean driving record

-Police record (vulnerable sector check)
