We are looking for experienced Welders for Speedy Auto located at 2145 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON L5K 2E2 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Interpret blueprints and welding process specifications to plan and execute repairs, modifications, or custom fabrications.
Weld and repair exhaust systems, including pipes, mufflers, and catalytic converters, addressing leaks or corrosion issues.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding tools, applying techniques such as GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, and others, depending on material and repair needs.
Utilize flame-cutting, brazing, and soldering equipment for precise removal, joining, or reinforcement of metal parts.
Fabricate and shape custom components, such as brackets and reinforcements, using metal shaping machines like brakes, shears, and straightening tools.
Repair worn or damaged metal parts by adding layers of weld material to restore strength and extend usability.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper ventilation and the use of protective equipment during all welding tasks.
Inspect and maintain welding equipment, such as torches, plasma cutters, and grinders, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary certificate or equivalent
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Language: English
Annual Salary: $53,200 to $56,000 for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
