Job Title: Construction Worker – Framing, Drywall, Plastering & Painting

Location: Address: 6435 Erin Mills Pkwy C16, Mississauga, ON L5N 4H4 (projects across the GTA)

Employment Type: Flexible (Part-time/Full-time)

Work Schedule: Full-time with option for part-time or flexible hours based on project requirements and candidate availability

Wage: $18.00 to 36.00 per hour depending on experience

Hours: 20-40 hours

Job Description

Ecliptic Builders Ltd. is hiring a Construction Worker to assist with framing, drywall installation, plastering, and painting work on residential renovation and basement projects. This position is suitable for candidates seeking hands-on, on-the-job training in construction trades. Training will be provided to support skill development and long-term employment growth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood or metal framing

  • Assist with installation of insulation and vapour barriers

  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings

  • Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall joints and surfaces

  • Apply plaster and joint compounds to interior walls and ceilings

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and priming

  • Apply primer and paint using brushes and rollers

  • Repair cracks, holes, and surface imperfections

  • Follow instructions, construction drawings, and safety procedures

  • Maintain clean and safe work areas

  • Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on site

Training Provided

  • On-the-job training will be provided for framing, drywall installation, plastering, and painting

  • Training includes proper use of tools, materials, and safety practices

  • No prior experience is required
