Donair Dude, is a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant operation serving a diverse customer
base in Vancouver, BC. Our Commercial Drive location manages dine-in, take-out and delivery
operations while maintaining high service standards, inventory controls and food safety
compliance in a demanding hospitality environment.
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for our Commercial Drive to oversee daily
operations, staffing coordination, operational efficiency and customer service performance in a
high-volume food service setting.
 
Skill Requirements:
• Education: Completion of secondary school required;
• Post-secondary education in hospitality management, business administration or a related
field is considered an asset.
• Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume food service
environment;
• Experience supervising and coordinating teams in a fast-paced operational setting;
• Experience with labour scheduling, inventory management, staffing allocation and operational
cost controls;
• Experience using POS systems, scheduling software and inventory management systems;
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures and operational compliance
requirements;
• Strong leadership, organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure customer service environment;
• Written and oral English required.
 
Job Duties :
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and
evaluating restaurant operations, including:
• Oversee and coordinate daily restaurant operations in a high-volume hospitality
environment;
 
• Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure efficient service delivery
during peak operational periods;
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate restaurant staff and shift supervisors;
• Develop and manage staff schedules, labour allocation and workflow planning to support
operational efficiency and labour cost control;
• Monitor operational performance, customer service standards, food quality and sanitation
compliance;
• Analyze sales performance, labour ratios, food cost variances and inventory levels to
improve operational profitability;
• Coordinate inventory management, purchasing activities and supplier relationships to
ensure continuity of operations;
• Implement and monitor operational procedures relating to food safety, sanitation
standards and workplace safety requirements;
• Resolve customer concerns and implement corrective operational strategies when
required;
• Coordinate restaurant delivery platform operations, POS systems and inventory
management systems;
• Assist in budgeting, operational planning and implementation of business improvement
initiatives;
• Ensure compliance with company operational policies and applicable health and safety
regulations.
