Janitorial Service Manager

Description

Evergreen Building Maintenance Inc. is seeking experienced Janitorial Services Managers to oversee cleaning operations, supervise staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality janitorial services to commercial clients throughout the Kelowna area.

Job Duties

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily janitorial operations.
• Establish and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Develop work schedules and assign duties to supervisors and cleaning staff.
• Hire, train, supervise and evaluate employees.
• Monitor quality control standards and ensure client satisfaction.
• Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions as required.
• Plan and control budgets, inventory and purchasing of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, occupational health and safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Coordinate maintenance and replacement of equipment and supplies.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain service records.
• Assist in business development and client retention activities.

Employment Requirements

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in janitorial, building maintenance, or related supervisory/management positions.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Criminal record check required.
