Looking for a home support worker

Wage: $23.00/Hour, 30 hours per week

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Title: Home Support Worker

Work Location: Vancouver BC

Duties:

•           Working with elderly people and providing one-on-one care, such as assisting with personal care, bathing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

•           Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the client’s support plans

•           Helping clients with leisure activities

•           Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of clients

•           Accompanying the client to medical appointments

•           Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a client

•           Being able to drive or having a driver’s license is an asset

Requirements:

Work Experience: 1 year or higher of experience in the related field OR a certificate in the related field

Language: English

Minimum Education: High School and a home support worker certificate
