Empire Distributions Inc. is looking for a user support technician.
Location – 2340 Meadowvale Blvd. suite Unit -10, Mississauga, ON, L5N 0H1, Canada
Working Hours – 30-40 hours per week, Full time permanent position
Salary – $36.00 per hour
Job duties:
1. To provide technical support to office staff, logistics personnel at all three Canada wide locations experiencing hardware, software, operating system errors or any related internal issues.
2. To use user guides, technical manuals and related documentation to resolve issues and ensure effective operation of inventory tracking hardware, remote database systems and enterprise software applications
3. Maintain system uptime for the Warehouse Management System to track inventory, shipping and ensured stable Wi-fi connectivity across the Mississauga warehouse for scanning devices
4. To resolve technical service tickets while documenting solutions to optimize future trouble shooting
5. To maintain detailed records of technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and future reference by technical support analysts.
6. Assist in the modification, enhancement and redesign of applications and software to improve functionality and support operational requirements
Language – English
Education – College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience – 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
