Position Info:

• Position: Hotel Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $39.22/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 2307 Shaka Lake Road, Penticton, BC V2A 6E8

Job Duties:

• Establish, execute, and continually review operational policies and standard procedures to ensure smooth hotel performance
• Manage hotel budgets, approve operational expenditures, and monitor daily revenue to maximize profitability
• Oversee the recruitment process, coordinate staff training programs, and organize employee work schedules across departments
• Address and efficiently resolve guest complaints and service issues to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for hotel amenities and maintenance services
• Monitor operations to ensure strict compliance with local health, safety, and workplace regulations
• Design and implement marketing initiatives and seasonal promotional campaigns to increase guest bookings

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the accommodation industry are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
