Wage: $32.00 per hour
Overtime: $48.00 per hour after 44 hours per week

Job Duties
The successful candidate will:
· Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine project requirements, dimensions, materials, and installation procedures.
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and fabricate wood, wood substitutes, laminates, and other materials used in the construction of custom cabinetry and millwork.
· Construct, install, repair, and modify custom cabinets.
· Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently to ensure precision and productivity.
· Perform fitting, assembly, finishing, and installation of cabinetry and millwork components at both shop and project locations.
· Inspect completed work throughout the fabrication and installation process to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
· Repair, refinish, and renovate existing cabinetry, wood fixtures, and other woodworking components in residential and commercial settings.
· Select, prepare, and handle materials while minimizing waste and maintaining cost-effective production practices.
· Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication, assembly, and installation issues to ensure timely project completion.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and occupational health and safety regulations.
· Collaborate closely with the Shop Foreman to coordinate workflow, monitor project progress, and ensure projects are completed according to established schedules, specifications, and quality requirements.
· Communicate effectively with foreman and client as required to support project execution and customer satisfaction.
Employment Requirements
- Completion of secondary school.
- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program OR a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the carpentry trade.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and safety procedures.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
