Position Info:
- Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $38.50-$39.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: #509-4538 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 4T9

Job Duties:
- Cast gold and metal alloys to produce bridges and denture bases
- Fabricate temporary crowns and restorations for patient use
- Mould plaster models and study casts for diagnostic reference
- Rebuild and finish metal denture frameworks to specification
- Shape wax bite-blocks and impression trays ahead of casting
- Form orthodontic bands using metal and alloy materials
- Record preliminary impressions to support diagnostic casts
- Track inventory and order laboratory and dental supplies as needed
Job Requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Experience: 3-5 years of dental laboratory experience is required
