Job Title: Accounting Manager

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, if required.



Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.



Work Address: 2396 – 272 street, Aldergrove, BC, V4W 2R1, Canada



Wage rate: $95,000 annually, for 30 hours a week



Education: High School required, diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related field an asset



Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience



Language: English



Job Duties:



• Manage all accounting and financial activities of the farm.

• Prepare and review financial statements to make sure they are accurate and follow accounting rules.

• Create and manage budgets, cash flow plans, and cost controls for crop production, inventory, and daily operations.

• Track inventory costs for plants, supplies, and equipment and ensure they are recorded correctly in financial reports.

• Supervise and train accounting staff, assign tasks, and check their work to ensure company policies are followed.

• Set up and maintain accounting systems, internal controls, and financial policies to protect company assets.



Essential Skills: Oral communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, continuous learning. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
