Description

Alnejmah Fine food is a Middle Eastern Grocery Store located in heart of Mississauga, provide wide selection of flaky pastries, fresh fruit and veggies and cuts of Halal meat. It’s a home of quality products and excellent customer service. We are looking for tow full time bakers to join our growing team with a minimum of two years experience in middle eastern cuisine, and will perform the following tasks:

·       Prepare Arabic and Turkish Bread, bun and Arabic and Turkish sweets (Baklava, Kunefe, Cake, pastries, and cookies).

·       Prepare dough for bread and sweet goods, batters for cookies and cakes and icing and frosting according to the recipe or special

         customer  order including custom decoration in Arabic and Turkish languages for birthdays and special occasions.

·       Operate Machinery, Bake mixed doughs and batters, frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods. Clean kitchen equipment and tools               before use. Weigh the flour and other ingredients to prepare the dough. Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking.

·       Mix various ingredients to create flings for the cake.

·       Bake different Arabic and Turkish bread.

·       Shape dough to prepare different Arabic and Turkish pastries, including

·       cakes and cookies.

·       Prepare custom-made pastries based on customer preference. Recommend recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers   

        (e.g., gluten-free or vegan desserts).

·       Work Hours: 7 am -3 pm, 40hrs/week

·       Permanent: Full Time
