30-40 hours/week
Rate: $24.50 per hour
Work Setting: Employer's home in Langley, BC
Relocation cost are paid by the employer; Free room and board
Language: Ability to read, speak and write in English in an unsupervised setting
Education: High school certificate
Experience: minimum 7 months’ continuous paid elderly-care experience in a home setting
Reliability, honesty, flexibility, dependability, good judgment, commitment to a full-time job are required
References are required
Duties:
Administer bedside and personal care
Assist client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in oral medication, regular exercise, walk
Feed or assist in feeding
Launder clothing and household linens
Provide companionship
Shop for food and household supplies, as required
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
