We are seeking 2 Dairy Farm Workers to join our team. The successful candidates would be responsible to assist other farm workers to raise cattle, to help carry out feeding, health and breeding programs, to process animal products and to assist in the maintenance and repair of farm equipment and buildings.

 This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant experience to establish their career with a reputable college.

Job Duties:

• Feed and tend cattle
• Milk cows manually or with a machine
• Sort, brand and handle animals
• Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including cleaning spaces
• Assist with breeding activities
• Monitor health of animals
• Prepare animals for transportation
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Any previous farm experience would be an asset

• Experience with Delaval VMS 300 robotic milkers will be an asset

• Experience milking cows in a regular parlour independently is an asset

• Good time management skills

• Work well with others
