– Wage: $37.00 per hour

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Benefits:

– 4% of salary for vacation remuneration

– Extended health benefits may be available after the probationary period, subject to eligibility.

 

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and evaluate day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service flow in a high-volume sushi dining environment
  • Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high service standards and team productivity
  • Plan, organize, and optimize daily operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house coordination
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including hiring, onboarding, and retention of service and kitchen staff
  • Develop and manage staff schedules based on business needs, peak hours, and labor cost control
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain brand standards
  • Determine service offerings and implement operational procedures tailored to sushi dining, including dine-in and take-out services
  • Manage inventory levels, including fresh seafood and perishable goods, ensuring quality control and minimizing waste
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations (e.g., Food Safe standards in BC)
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Provide hands-on customer service support during peak hours to ensure a seamless dining experience

 

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school is required.

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a related field and position is mandatory. 

Language: English
