Description

We are a private family in Surrey, BC seeking a compassionate, reliable and patient full-time live out Home Child Care Provider to care for our wonderful school-aged child with ASD. The ideal candidate will have previous childcare experience and understand the importance of providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include supervising and ensuring the child's safety and well-being, assisting with daily routines, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, engaging the child in educational and recreational activities, supporting positive behavioural and communication strategies, accompanying the child to appointments or community activities when required, and performing light housekeeping related to the child's care.

 

A minimum of 1 year of childcare experience is required. Experience working with children with Autism, intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, behavioural needs or other special needs is strongly preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are considered assets.

 

This is a permanent, Full-time Live out position offering 22.00 CAD/hour for 40 hours/week. Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents with a valid authorization to work in Canada are encouraged to apply.
