​Compensation and Hours

• ​Wage: $21.00 per hour
• ​Hours: 40 hours per week
• ​Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Work hours may vary on some days depending on Parent’s work schedule.
• Additional: Weekend availability is appreciated.

​Job Description & Core Duties

​We are a busy, welcoming family looking for a nurturing, responsible, and energetic full-time nanny to care for our two young children (a 2-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl) in our private residence.

• ​Supervise and care for two children at our house.
• ​Prepare and serve nutritious meals (Breakfast +Lunch) and snacks for the children.
• ​Support the 4-year-old with age-appropriate educational play and kindergarten readiness activities.
• ​Organize and participate in daily indoor and outdoor activities (e.g., arts and crafts, reading, park visits, educational games) tailored to a toddler and preschooler.
• ​Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment in the home, including light housekeeping e.g., tidying up house, play areas, washing children's dishes and laundry.
• ​Oversee children's daily routines, including rest periods, nap times, and potty training/diapering for the 2-year-old.
• ​Nurture the emotional and social well-being of both children, modeling positive behaviors and encouraging social development.
• ​Maintain a daily log detailing meals consumed, sleep schedules, activities, and overall behavioral milestones to ensure seamless communication with parents.
• Pet friendly home: We have a Cat; additional responsibility may include giving breakfast/water to Cat

​Employment Requirements

• ​Education: Completion of secondary school (High School diploma) or equivalent is required.
• ​Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional childcare or related experience is required.
• ​Language: Clear communication in English is required.
• ​Credentials: First Aid Certification and CPR training (or willingness to obtain it before starting) is required.
• ​Background Check: Criminal Record Check will be required upon hire.
