Position Info:

• Position: Daycare Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 1585 MacGowan Ave, North Vancouver, BC V7P 2X1

Job Duties:

• Direct the daily workflows of the teaching team to maintain a safe, secure, and health-conscious learning environment
• Support educators in delivering curriculum-based activities tailored to developmental needs
• Design and execute childcare programs focused on physical, cognitive, and social-emotional growth
• Facilitate interactive learning through storytelling, musical instruction, creative crafts, and field trips
• Instruct children on fundamental life skills, including nutritional habits, personal dressing, and hygiene routines
• Organize and lead staff meetings to evaluate child progress and address challenges
• Oversee the procurement of educational materials and ensure maintenance facility equipment
• Identify potential behavioral or learning challenges and document observations

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in childcare as well as supervisory experience is required
• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate and ECE Certificate
• Language: English
