Position Info:

• Position: Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 401-1194 Landsdowne Dr, Coquitlam, BC V3E 1J7

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Korean dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, usage, and kitchen supplies to support cost control
• Ensure all dishes meet presentation, portion, and quality expectations before being served to customers
• Order and restock food ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations
• Train and guide kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safe food handling practices

Job requirements:

• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Language: English
