Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.00~$21.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 201-2020 Oxford Connector, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 0A4

Job Duties:

• Prepare menu items according to established recipes and presentation
• Adjust food preparation to safely accommodate guest allergies and dietary needs
• Review portion sizes to ensure consistency with restaurant standards and cost goals
• Procure ingredients and kitchen equipment to ensure a fully stocked station
• Assist with kitchen workflows to maintain efficient service
• Instruct kitchen helpers on cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols
• Track stock levels and document usage for food, supplies, and equipment

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
