La Ruota Pizzaria is a Neapolitan style pizzeria serving amazingly traditional and new world pizzas made the southern Italian way. Using hand-picked fresh ingredients, combined in the most creative way possible, we cook pizzas to perfection in our 600° oven. With tantalizing flavours to suit every palette, we have been dishing out pizza’s for several years from our multiple locations satisfying the cravings of pizza lovers all over the lower mainland.

We are looking for an enthusiastic hand-stretched pizza cook who knows how to cook pizza with love. We are looking for a hardcore Pizza cook who can prepare and bake Pizza with creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the pizza dough from scratch.
• Make Pizza with the hand stretching method.
• To be able to cater to different customer diet needs and cook unique recipes if needed.
• Looking after kitchen operations and manage the stock of ingredients.
• Communicate with suppliers to maintain sustainable supply and smooth operation.
• To coordinate with the operation manager(s) new ideas and suggestions for menu.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen work area.

Qualifications: 

• Post-secondary education or 3 – 5 years of recent relevant experience is required.
• 3-5 years of recent experience in cooking and pizza preparation.
• Strong reference is a must.
• No previous suspension for sanitary failure.
• The hand stretching Pizza technique is a plus.
• Ability to work on weekends and flexible shift hours.
• A team player with a multi-tasking personality is highly regarded.
