– Hourly Wage: C$24.00 to C$29.00 (depending on experience)
– Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
– Job Location: 247 East Georgia St. Vancouver, BC V6A 3A1
– Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary
– Start Date: As soon as possible
– Work Conditions: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Job Requirements

– Education: Completion of Secondary (high) school
– Experience: 3-5 years of experience
– Personal Suitability: Team player, Flexibility
– Language of work: English

Job Duties

– Work with a wide range of foliage and flowers
– Design bouquets, corsages, wreaths and other floral arrangements
– Select natural and artificial flowers and decorative accessories to create arrangements or other floral items
– Provide advice and suggestions on floral arrangements and designs to suit customers' requirements
– Sell flowers, plants, and related products on a retail basis
– Organize day-to-day flower shop operations
– Supervise apprentices or other staff
