IN-HOME CAREGIVER (QUÉBEC-J0R 1K0)

Description

A busy professional family in Piedmont is seeking a compassionate caregiver for two elderly individuals who can also provide housekeeping and general domestic support; this is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, 5 days per week) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a salary of $19/hour. The caregiver will have two days off, usually Saturday and Sunday; however, this may vary depending on the employer’s work schedule, so flexibility is essential. Live-in accommodation is available at no additional cost. In the parents’ absence, the caregiver may also be required to manage the household and care for the children. Languages: French or English.

*Educational level required:

General High school diploma – Completed 

*Experience related to employment:

A minimum of 1–2 years of experience caring for the elderly (or equivalent experience) is required, gained through roles such as a nurse, midwife, or psychologist.

*Other conditions:

The ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, and responsible, with sound judgment, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and experience working with the elderly.
