IN-HOME CAREGIVER (QUÉBEC- H3Y 3J1)

Description

A busy professional family in Westmount is seeking a caregiver for an elderly person who can also provide housekeeping and other domestic support. This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, 5 days per week: Wednesday 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm, Thursday 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Saturday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, Sunday 7:30 am – 7:30 pm. At a salary of $19/hour. Days off are usually Monday and Tuesday, but they may vary depending on the employer’s shifts, so flexibility is essential. A live-in option is available at no additional cost. The caregiver may also be required to supervise the home and care for the children when the parents are absent. French or English is required. 

*Educational level required:

General High school diploma – Completed

*Experience related to employment:

1–2 years of experience caring for an elderly person is required, or equivalent experience gained through work or studies as a nurse , midwife, or psychologist.

*Other conditions:

Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, experience with elderly.
