Responsibilities
Tasks
Prepare residential sites for concrete work, including homes, basements, driveways, patios, and walkways.
Set up forms and ensure proper leveling, alignment, and drainage for residential structures.
Measure, mix, and pour concrete for residential construction and renovation projects.
Use tools such as floats, trowels, and edgers to smooth and finish surfaces.
Create decorative finishes such as stamped, coloured, or textured concrete for patios and outdoor areas.
Apply curing methods to ensure strength and durability of concrete.
Install embedded items such as anchor bolts and fixtures in fresh concrete.
Repair, resurface, or replace damaged concrete in residential properties.
Work on interior and exterior concrete surfaces, including floors, garage slabs, and outdoor living areas.
Follow safety procedures and residential construction standards.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Inspect finished work to ensure quality and client satisfaction
