Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 702 Vernon Street, Nelson, BC V1L 4G2

Job Duties:

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of employees
• Plan, manage, and evaluate the overall operation of the restaurant and food service
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and high-quality service
• Establish staff work schedules, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance evaluations
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare operational and financial reports
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Determine and develop customer service standards and implement procedures to maintain consistent quality
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns
• Recruit, train, and oversee staff onboarding and ongoing development

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Language: English
