IN-HOME CAREGIVER (QU├ëBEC – J4B 7L3)

Description

A busy professional family in Boucherville is looking for a caregiver for two children who will also handle housekeeping and other domestic tasks. This is a permanent, full-time position of 35 hours per week over five days. The schedule is as follows: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — two shifts, the first from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the second from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday — from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The salary is $17.88 per hour. The two days off are usually Saturday and Sunday, but this may vary depending on the employer’s schedule, so flexibility is essential. There is an option to live with the employer at no additional cost. The caregiver may be required to manage the household and take care of the children in the parents’ absence. Languages required: French or English.

*Educational level required:

General High school diploma – Completed 

*Experience related to employment:

1-2 Years of experience with children or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a teacher, nurse, midwife, or psychologist is required.

*Other conditions:

Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, experience with children.
