Al Barak Mediterranean Grill INC in Victoria is looking for permanent, full-time positions for Two Chefs to assist in running growing firm and could join immediately.

Location: 569 Johnson Street suite 101 Victoria, BC V8W 3C6

Positions Available: 2 (Two)

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Compensation: $34.62per hour

Work hours: 30 hours/week

Terms: Permanent Full-Time

Language of Work: English

Job duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee food preparation and cooking operations

  • Collaborate with clients to plan and organize weddings, banquets, and special events.

  • Design and plan menus, ensuring food meets quality standards.

  • Estimate food requirements and project food and labor costs.

  • Supervise specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks.

  • Manage equipment purchases and arrange for necessary repairs.

  • Handle recruitment and hiring of kitchen staff.

  • May also prepare and cook food on a regular basis or for special events and guests.

 

Skills and Education:

1 year to less than 2 years

Completion of Secondary School
