Position: Construction Painters Supervisor
Wage: $36.00–$38.00 per hour (negotiable)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 1, 2026
Work Location: On-site, various locations within Burnaby and surrounding areas
About the Role
Loba Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced and reliable Construction Painters Supervisor to oversee our painting teams and ensure high-quality work across multiple residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is a strong team leader with hands-on supervisory experience in the painting trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of painters and decorators
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain project documentation
- Schedule and coordinate activities to meet project deadlines
- Oversee apprenticeship training and support the development of team members
- Train workers or arrange training as needed
- Set up machines, tools, and equipment
- Estimate labour, materials, and project costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Recommend personnel actions and assist with hiring needs
- Order and requisition materials, equipment, and supplies
Requirements
- Registered Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in painting or construction
- Ability to work on-site; no remote work available
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Steel-toed safety boots required
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
